chimpmemory.com ("we", "the site") provides six free browser-based memory games: the Chimp Test, Sequence Memory, Number Memory, Visual Memory, Verbal Memory and the N-Back Test. This page explains what data is and isn't collected when you use the site.

How the games work

All six games run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Game state, scores, and history are stored only in your browser's local storage, on your own device, and are never transmitted to or stored on any server operated by this site. Clearing your browser data or using a different browser/device starts your scores fresh.

Cookies and advertising

This site may display advertisements served by third-party ad networks, such as Google AdSense. These networks may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or generally at aboutads.info.

Analytics

This site runs no analytics. There is no server-side application, no account system, and no analytics beacons. Nothing measures your visit, your scores or your game history, because there is no endpoint for that data to go to. If that ever changes, this page changes with it.
